Daily life seems like an endless repetition of routines. We make plans to become more efficient, forgetting that life is unpredictable.
What is here today will be gone tomorrow.
Kids grow up, friends become distant, and we realize later how much time has moved.
As we get older, we tend to make more plans to accomplish our goals, make more money, work extra hours, socialize with acquaintances, etc. But we sometimes forget to enjoy the everyday existence of just being alive.
We must remember that life is a miracle and that every breath we take is a gift. We have to appreciate the beauty that surrounds us.
“Today is the day that the Lord has made, let us enjoy and be glad in it !”
We can’t go checking all the boxes on our to-do list. Make time today to just stop and be grateful for what you have.
